## Arrival in Yndaros
The city bloomed with banners while secrets choked its roots. An invitation — unsigned, perfumed with amber — led the company into salons where smiles hid splendid knives. The Sun Church sought a scandal buried; Ordo Magica, a rumor unbound; the Queen’s household, a loyalty proven on a ballroom floor.
The evening ended with a toast to absent friends and a servant found petrified in amber up to the throat, eyes still wet with tears.
