The Barbarian Clans

The barbarian clans are the original inhabitants of Davokar, living in harmony with the forest for generations before the arrival of the Ambrians. They are diverse in culture and beliefs, but united in their connection to the land.

Major Clans:
- The Black Claw: Fierce warriors who hunt corrupted creatures
- The River People: Traders and fishermen along Davokar's waterways
- The Mountain Folk: Miners and craftsmen from the northern peaks
- The Forest Walkers: Mystics and healers who commune with nature

Culture:
- Deep respect for nature and the spirits
- Oral traditions passed down through generations
- Skilled in survival and forest lore
- Suspicious of outsiders and their technology

The barbarians have been pushed deeper into Davokar by Ambrian expansion, but they continue to resist and fight for their ancestral lands. Many have formed alliances with the elves and other forest dwellers.

Each clan has its own traditions, customs, and relationship with the forest spirits. They are not a unified people, but rather a collection of independent groups with shared cultural roots.
