The Great War

Twenty years ago, the Great War between Ambria and the barbarian clans of Davokar came to an end. The war began when Queen Korinthia led her people north from their dying homeland, seeking new territory in the ancient forest of Davokar.

The conflict was brutal and transformative. The Ambrians brought iron weapons, organized armies, and mystical knowledge, while the barbarians fought with ancient traditions, forest magic, and intimate knowledge of Davokar's dangers.

The war ended not with total victory, but with an uneasy peace. The Ambrians established their kingdom on the forest's edge, while many barbarian clans retreated deeper into Davokar's shadows.

The war's legacy continues to shape the region, with old wounds still fresh and many seeking revenge or reconciliation.
